Get involved!

How often does the opportunity arise to be involved in something from it's founding?  Well this is the very first Beer Festival to be organised in Didsbury and you can help to make it a success by getting involved.  We are looking for people to help make this a significant event in the Beer Festival calendar.

How can I help?

    The beer festival will be an event for the whole community, organised by the whole community of Didsbury

Currently we are looking for volunteers to help organise and run the festival and underwriters to cover the costs.  If you have any expertise in Beer Festivals or just fancy being part of such an event then contact us, all are welcome and there will be no shortage of things to get involved in.  As for funding, being a new festival we are not able to arrange for CAMRA to underwrite the event, however, we have novel idea for raising funds that has attracted 15 people already to underwrite the cost at £100 each, (our target is to get 50 underwriters).  The more beer we sell the more of your money you will get back, any profit will go to designated charities.  The reward for being an underwriter will be an invite to an ' Underwriter's only ' session on Sunday to drink up the remaining beer!  If you want to know more about becoming an Underwriter, go to the Underwriters page, if you are convinced and what to become an Underwriter then contact us to be added to a rapidly growing list of people who have made this commitment already.
