Festival News

The  first two Didsbury Beer Festivals in 2008 and 2009 (pictures) were more successful than we could have hoped for and we were  able to make significant donations to charities

Next committee Meeting is at 8.00pm on 7th September at St Catherine’s Social Club

A new beer from Dunham Massey helped toast Didsbury Beer Festival’s success when donations were made to the two charities who benefitted from the 2009 event at a presentation evening on Saturday 24th April at St Catherine’s Social Club.(see pictures)

 

The two 2009 charities were

 

Entertainment at the event was provided by Swingin’ Affair, and there were 3 excellent guest ales to be sampled.

Bollington Brewery’s White Nancy (beer of the 2009 festival)

Coniston Bluebird (the most popular Lakeland ale at the Festival)

Dunham Massey’s new Duerr's Blossom Honey Beer from the 1st commercial brew - an excellent addition to their range
